WEEK 15 : THE PROCESS OF FINAL PROJECT (5)
As we were sketching the robot design, using
some structural idea concepts from asimo of the exterior body form. We focused
on the inner electrical system to the backpack solar system to the power source
of the robot.
We emphasis more to the generating of power
supply first. There are two colour coding of power supply system. The yellow
signifies the connection of the backpack power supply to the rest of the robot
system which also powers up the solar panel. The red signifies the main system
of how the robot will move which also robot itself up once it gets recharge
from the solar panel system.
This is our final A2 blackboard.
WEEK 14 : THE PROCESS OF FINAL PROJECT (4)
We were inspire by the Asimo robot to develop
our design concept solution. We chose this because Asimo robot have a 130cm
height. It is the same height as an primary schooler student, which makes a
good relavant choice to our solution.

Asimo robot also have a high intelligent scheme
built in their system. As it can forsee obstacles and it can evade them with
their sencors.
Synchronizing with humans
With force sensors in its wrist, asimo
detects the strength and direction of the force applied to its hands.
Stable movement
Asimo robot is very stable even when move
suddenly.
Balance
Asimo robot also have great balance while
walking. Which it is good as it would not push as a health thread to children.
We suggest to bring this upon our design, was
to create solar energy power supply. Which consist of designing a bag with
solar panel surface of the backpack? Solar robots are known for assemble of
gears and compartments of the gear itself. We were inspire by the assemble of
six different robot which it is part of our design concept.
Combination of solar robot and asimo robot
As asimo robot requires rechargeable electrical
charging, thus it would be a problem in the households too much power would be
required. Therefore we used solar panel from the solar robots to use solar
energy from the sun. Which we would save plenty of energy. The solar robots can
also change forms which is a system we want for our robot model.

We take the skill of technical drawing.
We choose some robots used in the home, in the use of robots
on the social focus to help the old man and the child’s robot and robot helps
people with disabilities. We want to make a new one robot that walk
fast smooth and has a great capacity for our books.
Throughout the process of brainstorming the
ideals, we have come up with this possible idea to further develop our in depth
search for the solution to children bag’s too heavy. In this further analysing the
problem, we come up with robotic gears, rejection ideas, solar robots. Domestic
robot and lastly combination of final product.

Weight(follow owner’s weight)
Width(18 indnes / 450mm)
Material : body > covered in magnesium allay with plastic resin
Operation : indicator light(green, white and red) Power source
Function : arms and hands > able to move with 34’c of freedom.
Synchronizing with humans : pushing a cart / carrying a tray
Development : waking / running > it is very stable even when having suddenly stored walking patterns for start.

WEEK 11 : THE PROCESS OF FINAL PROJECT (1)
Because we choose three ideals, we decided
to choose the main ideal that connect
three ideals.
It combine robot with bag. We find a king
of robot about domestic robot.

A domestic robot, or service robot, is an autonomous robot that is used for household chores. Thus far, there are only a few limited models, though speculators, such as Bill Gates, have suggested that they could become more common in the future. Many domestic robots are used for basic household chores. Others are educational or entertainment robots, such as the hero line of the 1980s. While most domestic robots are simplistic, some are connected to wifi home networks or smart environments and are autonomous to a high degree. There were an estimated 3,540,000 service robots in use in 2006, compared with an estimated 950,000 industrial robots.
WEEK 10: THE ORIGINAL IDEAL OF FINAL PROJECT
At first, we made five solutions about
final project.
They include
1.electronic flying bag,
2.microchip automatic robot,
3.usage of tablets instead of books,
4.Sci-fi chair,
5.Teleport machine.
Finally, because we can not connect with
future, we choose three ideals thatcombine them with the present life.
WEEK 9 : 101 SOLUTIONS
We have created 101 solution exercise. We only
managed to get 82 ideals of solutions, that’s relevant to our case study. Our ideas
went to the present encounters problems to futuristic solutions that may occur
in the future. We went to finding solutions such as one of the common solutions
that we had. They were providing lockers, using electronic devices, less books.
We managed to think ahead, not only this
main problems by reducing weight prons. But also creating new ways to build and
invent, to prevent health problems from occurring to children and teenagers.
I wrote many solutions and I picked out some important ideals.
1.Find your friends help you.
2.Can put some heavy items in locker.
3.Change the materials of bags.
4.Try to choose backpack bag.
5.Use more time in internet about
E-learn,E-mail……
6.Our parents also can help us for traffic
tools.

WEEK 8: PERSONA
PERSONA
1.As 6-12 age student.
If I were a boy at 6-8 year old.
I want to take many different toys to
school like cars, small robots, the transformers and many fun small items that
we can play together. I don’t want to study, even I don’t know “study” is very
important. I go to school every day because I can meet my friends and play. So my
bag will become more heavier. Inside my toys more than my test books!!!
2.As 13-18 age
I am a 18 year old girl. So I know many
girls in this age we often take different cosmetics. We must take mirrors, combs.
We take beautiful bags that we don’t want to discuss is it practical. We just
put “beautiful” and “like ” into our new bags.
But if I just have 13years old. I will put
many reference books into my bags. At least that time I like reading many
different king dos books. The weight of the books often take us a lot of space
in bag.
WEEK 7 : RESEARCH IN CHINA
In China,
1.This situation is very serious?
Yes, it is very serious. Not to mention
others first. I want to say about my feelings. Since I went to school about
when I was 6. I feel the pressure of learning slowly. Although it’s not very
strict about the result, we have a lot of course so we need to bring the
textbooks, exercise books to use each section of the material.
This kind of situation is becoming more and
more serious. In China, leading to let students feel it’s a habit about heavy
bag.
I think everyone has this unhappy time of
school bag.
Many students can’t back a lot of people
actually dragging bags away in primary school.
2.We have the solution efficiently?
Its development has a direct effect to the
body.
So we can change the “backpack bag” to “pull
red type bag”. We can also save a part of our homework on the desk if we don’t
need to use it. Some students because they have parents transport they can
reduce the pressure of back school bag. But this solution for most of the
students is not realistic, not everyone has such a good condition.
From “Beijing daily”, if we want to
fundamentally solve this problem, we need from the perspective of the
education. We should be appropriate to reduce unnecessary work.

WEEK 6 : CASE STUDY
CASE STUDY
Every time in school, people often can see pupils carry a heavy school bag crowded bus. According to the daily mail reported 13, in recent days, become the bag is too heavy, the British children under the age of 14, half spine once appear problem, will has a great influence on the future life, therefore parents should supervise, let the child is only needed for the bag. Growing nearly twice as much as 10 years age.
WEEK 5 : THE CHAPTER AND RESEARCH OF TOPIC
1. At 9-13 age, most kids in primary school. Many children can not adapt to the increasingly work about every course. In kindergarten we had a happy and carefree time.
2. So the bag change from small to large and from light to heavy, we can feel the pressure coming.
3. Although we also can buy cute or small bags, we can not just put all tools in them. We must take notebooks, test papers, textbooks and a kind of materials about our courses.
RESEARCH
1. About hobby. I talked about some children and most told me actually they want to take some materials help them to do something what they want to do. When we can see this colorful world. Some kids want to draw it, other kids want to learn funny technology(about play the instrument or learn to how to play any sports). So every day kids want to learn them if they really like them. This is one of reason why school bag so heavy.
2. 7-9 age students just kids, so they also like take some tools to school. They also want to play them with “little friends:.[ Even many tools are very heavy] (a series of little car, small robots......)
> So many kids always feel happy although their bag are so heavy.


WEEK 3 : INTRODUCTION
INTRODUCTION
The weight of children's school bag has been always a problem for children in Singapore. Due to its more academic subject been taken by children in primary school,naturally the weight of the school bag would also increase subsequently over the years. The problem does not stop here,the weight of the children school bag is still increasing over the years. Students is still required to take CCA(co-curriculum activity). Therefore other than their school books and items they need for school,they also need to carry equipment's for their CCA in their bags. That's not all,children also need to carry umbrellas or even rain coats,in case of unpredictable weather conditions.
WEEK 2 : PREFACE AND INTRODUCTION
PREFACE
What inspire us to choose this topic? Every day this problem have been occurring
throughout the years.People are not correcting the way;of how they carry their bag. Even though they knew the problem,nobody is paying attention of how the children are suffering causing various health issues. We choose this to find out mere about why,when and what are causing health issues to children. And what can be improved in the system of heavy school bags. If we don't find the solution to this problem,the situation will be more serious in the future. Causing more health damage to the children that is happening right now. Parents nor teachers should start to prevent the issues from happening. Not only depending on others to do it but you must take the initiative of having a healthy lifestyle by following the correct rules and positions of carrying rules and positions of carrying a bag.
WEEK 1 : MAIN MAP AND FEELING
OUR TOPIC IS CHILDREN'S BAG IS TOO HEAVY.

After we got the topic, this is our some original ideas. It includes the reason, effect and consequence. The reason have many courses, many materials and much homework. Because we have many courses, we need to take many different books everyday. About effect, if we often have many courses or books, we must have heavy pressure. So it can influence our hobby, health. We don’t have enough time to do something that we like. We have to face much homework. Even our bag don’t have the more place to put other items about our hobbies. If we don’t have a nice grade, and add many courses, much homework and many tests. Gradually we will lose confidence and will not be interested in study.
FEELING :
In modern time, not only adult's press is very heavy, children also. More and more courses, exam,let students don't want to study active.We will think what the courses should we do, and
what we have to do, its not a important thing that we need to do.
I found more and more classmates don't feel happy in school. All day we should face our exam,
score,we find that we have not enough time to do what we like,what we want to do.
